Elementaries
The elementaries are the basic matter of the Aithyra’s visual identity. They move, they evolve, they transform - fluid and dynamic in their behaviour. They can create forms and shapes, or conversely: be revealed within existing ones. The elementaries play a defining role in visually expressing what Aithyra stands for.
Elementaries styles
Created by a custom tool, Aithyra's elementaries appear in four different styles:

Abstract
Type
Icons
Visualization
Within this style, the elementaries display existing items or things. That could range from scientific visualizations to human elements such as hands.

Abstract
With this style, the elementaries are used to show more abstract matter and are used as a visual element. The tool can create abstract visuals that range from very structured layouts of elementaries to much more random placement. The abstract visuals nonetheless should never have a chaotic nature.

Type
The elementaries can also be applied to type. This style creates opportunities to animate type and for example, transition from one word to another.
Icons
The elementaries can also be used to create practical icons, for online and offline communication.
Elementaries applied
In application, there are three ways to use the elementaries:
- Solid: using the elementaries as a key visual or visual element
- Type container: integrating type in the elementaries
- Photo container: using the elementaries to reveal an image

When the elementaries are used as a type container, the following guidelines should be applied: the height of the text equals the horizontal margins.

Tool
An online tool has been developed to make custom asset generation much easier. It runs in any browser and is fully controllable via the UI on the left side. With just a few clicks, you can export both bitmap and vector pattern outputs from any input image. For more information about the controls, simply click the question mark icon within the app.
Toolkit
A library of ready-to-use elementaries is accessible. This toolkit consists of both abstract and visualization assets, available in .png and .ai format.
The toolkit can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
